About the Event

The AI Reel Hack is a creative and technology-driven competition where participants will develop a short animated reel (30 seconds to 1 minute, with a maximum duration of 2 minutes if required) using AI-powered and open-source digital tools. Based on a theme announced by the organizers, participants will create impactful awareness messages that demonstrate creativity, technical skills, storytelling, and social responsibility.

Event Rules

  1. Participation: Participation in the event is individual.
  2. Theme: The reel must be based strictly on the theme provided by the organizers.
  3. Duration: The reel should be between 30 seconds and 1 minute. A maximum duration of 2 minutes may be permitted if approved by the organizers.
  4. Use of AI Tools: Participants may use AI tools for content creation, animation, voice-over, music, editing, and other creative purposes.
  5. Submission: Participants must submit their reels before the specified submission deadline.
  6. Originality: All submitted content must be original, ethical, and suitable for public viewing.
  7. File Format: The final reel must be submitted in MP4 format with good audio and video quality.
  8. Theme Compliance: The reel must strictly follow the announced theme.
  9. Resources: Participants may use AI tools, open-source software, and publicly available resources, with proper attribution wherever required.
  10. Prohibited Content: Any offensive, copyrighted, misleading, or inappropriate content will result in disqualification.
  11. Plagiarism: Plagiarism or direct copying of existing videos is strictly prohibited.
  12. Final Decision: The decision of the judges and organizing committee shall be final and binding.

 

Evaluation of participants across all rounds will be conducted to determine the winner.

Evaluation:

  1. Round 1 – Technical Screening: Submitted reels will undergo an initial technical screening to ensure compliance with the specified format, duration, theme, quality, and submission requirements.
  2. Round 2 – Jury Evaluation: Eligible reels will be evaluated by the jury based on the quality, creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, and overall execution.
  3. Round 3 – Public Voting & Engagement: Shortlisted reels will be evaluated based on audience voting and engagement as per the mechanism specified by the organizers.
